Is planning always better?

Travelling is fun, you get to see, and experience completely different things that you assumed you could never do. But it is possible, anything is possible. When you take travelling seriously you need to understand that sometimes things may not work out the way you want them to, especially if none of it is planned beforehand, this could be a huge struggle for you. So if you’re bad with time management, or are overly strict when it comes to travelling you need to make an itinerary. Trust me when I say it will be a godsend for many people.

What is this?

For those of you who don’t know what it is, well it is like a plan, or schedule, it shows all the things that needed to be done in a day. This is used in travelling most of the time, especially on cruises as they have times to dock and leave, so they work accordingly to it. It is also used in trips, if you booked packages with your hotel, they tell you what to do and when to do it, it just makes the day less chaotic.

The advantages of it?

If you’re not sure if you want to use an itinerary you should, because there are so many benefits you can earn from using one. First of all it will save you time, it increases your time management skills, that way you can spend it on each activity effectively. Plus with this it allows you to do more in less amounts of time when you have everything scheduled. So you don’t have to think about what to do next and so on. Also it is good for people you are on a budget, it controls the cost. Overall you can balance your activities efficiently.

The cons of it.

But when it comes to preparing it this can take a bit of time, especially if they are not premade from your hotel. So you will have to put in time and effort to make it as effective as possible. You have to take a number of variables into account when doing so. This sometimes makes your day less flexible if you stick to it, so you may end up missing out on some great things. And remember you’re on vacation you don’t want to be too strict and meticulous on your self, make sure you enjoy yourself.
